Check out an item using the desktop view

Once you have logged in, please follow the steps below to check out an item to an order.

Serialized Item Check Out

  1. Navigate to the Home screen. Underneath the “Quick Tasks” box, there is a tab labeled “Check Out”. Click on the “Check Out” tab.
  2. Enter the order number of the order your are wanting to check out serialized items to and press enter. Once you have successfully entered the order number, you will see the items in the order displayed in the line item view below the “Order Number” field.
  3. To begin checking out the items, click in the “Barcode” field. Type the barcode for the item and press enter on the keyboard. Note: There is not an enter button of the screen, you must use your keyboard.
  4. Enter each item, one by one, until you have successfully checked out the items to the order. The green check mark on the right side of the line item display will notate once a line item has been successfully checked out.

Note: If you try to check out an item that is not on the order, the system will prompt you with a dialogue asking you to add the item to the order. Please do NOT select yes if you are not the salesperson for the order. If you are the salesperson, you may select “yes” to add the item to the order. The system will follow a selection of “yes” with a dialogue asking for a quantity of the item to be added to the order.

Non-Serialized Item Check Out

Once you have successfully checked out all serialized items on a job, you can check out the non-serialized items.

  1. Navigate to the “Check Out” tab using the instructions above.
  2. Enter the order number of the order your are wanting to check out serialized items to and press enter. Once you have successfully entered the order number, you will see the items in the order displayed in the line item view below the “Order Number” field.
  3. Verify ALL serialized items have been checked out by looking for the green check mark on the right side of the line item display.
  4. Once all serialized items are checked out, click on the button labeled “Check out non-inventory”. This will check out all non-serialized items to the order.
  5. Verify check out is successful by looking for green check marks on the right side of all line items.

Once all items have a green check mark on the right side of the line item display, the order has been successfully checked out. Please confirm the status of the order has been changed to “Out” in the order detail view. Click here to learn more about the statuses of an order.
